Prior Your Departure:
How to pay for your stay

Booking Conditions:
All reservations must be confirmed by a deposit corresponding to:
– 30% of the total rental cost and any other additional services

Balance Payment:
Payment of the balance on arrival.

Methods of Payment:
For any reservation, you can pay for your stay by credit card, bank transfer or cheque, and holiday vouchers.

Approved Partners’ Holiday Vouchers – Guarantee:
Any reservation by holiday vouchers less than 30 days before your stay must be guaranteed by a valid bank card at the beginning of your stay and corresponding to 100% of your rental reservation.
Please note that we do NOT reimburse overpayments for payments made by approved partners’ holiday vouchers.

Travel Documents:
Following your reservation, you will receive an e-mail including your rental contract detailing the terms and conditions, follow-up of your payment, and the information concerning your stay (description of your accommodation, arrival and departure times). Upon arrival, you will need to present the credit card used to make the reservation and valid identification. Failure to do so may result in Les Toits de Santa Giulia refusing you access to your accommodation.

Rental Rates:
Rental Conditions for Our Villas / Apartments / Studio Apartment:
Our rates include all taxes and rental of accommodation with charges: water, electricity, heating, linens and tourist tax, except for file and eco-participation fees. We kindly remind our guests that a greater number of people cannot, under any circumstances, occupy a rental for a given number of residents.
Rental rates are dynamic and take into account fluctuations in demand. Paid services are established according to the economic data in force on the date of their establishment. A change in the applicable regulations may lead us to modify the said rentals and paid services rates.

The pool area and the entire premises are available to our guests free of charge. This implies their appropriate use by our guests. Failure to do so may result in exclusion by the management and any authorised staff.

Optional Services (not included in the rental of accommodation):
Basket breakfast; Corsican appetizer basket.

Amenities and Services Included:
Bed linen, towels, bath rugs, tea towels, welcome kit and end-of-stay cleaning for an accommodation left in decent condition.

Upgrades:
Should an exceptional event occur, or should it be impossible to make the reserved accommodation available to the guest or in the event of force majeure, Les Toits de Santa Giulia reserves the right to arrange for accommodation of an equivalent or higher category without any change in the rental rate for the guest. Les Toits de Santa Giulia is under no obligation to inform the guest of the modification.

Tourist Tax:
Collected on behalf of the municipality and to be paid upon reservation, it is included in our rates. The amount is determined by the municipality and may be modified during the year without prior notice.

Cancellation of Stay by the Guest
Cancellation:
Your reservation can be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days before arrival.

A penalty of 30% of the full stay is due if cancelled after this time.
Suppose you cancel your stay due to government measures and after the 30-day period. In that case, your deposit becomes a credit note valid for 18 months.

You will be able to request reimbursement of your down payment if you have not consumed your credit after this lapse of time (in application of Ordinance No.2020-315 of 25 March 2020 on the financial conditions for the resolution of certain travel and accommodation contracts in exceptional and unavoidable circumstances or force majeure).

No-Show:
The balance for your stay is due even if you do not show up at the holiday residence Les Toits de Santa Giulia during the booking period.

During Your Stay

Arrival and Departure:

Arrival:
The keys of your accommodation are handed over starting 5:00 pm on the day of your arrival.
You will be requested to pay the reservation balance on arrival.

Security Deposit:
A security deposit of €600 will be requested on delivery of the keys, payable by credit card or bank cheque only.

The deposit will be refunded by post within a week, after deduction of any damage, missing items and additional cleaning costs if the rental is found overly dirty. A first joint inventory of the accommodation will be carried out on your departure between 8:00-10:00 am and a second one will be carried out with our staff.

All the facilities of your rental are in good working condition upon your arrival. However, should you have any complaints, they must be made within 24 hours of the keys’ handover. Any repairs made necessary by negligence or poor maintenance will be charged to the guests.

Departure:
On the day of your departure, the accommodation must be vacated between 8:00-10:00 am at the latest, so we can do the cleaning and gardening for the arrivals scheduled for that same date. Thank you for your understanding.

The cleaning service is free of charge. However, we ask you to leave the accommodation in a proper state of cleanliness by yourself.

The accommodation should be tidied up as such:
– Remove all food from the fridge and freezer;
– Degrease the cooktop;
– Clean the microwave oven;
– Empty all rubbish bins;
– All dishes must be left clean and tidy as on the day of arrival;
– Put bed linen and towels in the dry-cleaning bag provided;
– Sweep all floors;
– Bedspreads and sofa cushion covers should be left clean;
– Replace the furniture when you have changed its layout;
– Store the air conditioning remote control in the box provided;
– Return the entrance gate control unit to the front desk.

Visitors:
A visitor is defined as follows: any person residing outside our premises and who wishes to visit a guest of our holiday residence within the limits of the opening hours. The guest must inform the reception of the arrival of his/her visitor by giving his/her identity and, following authorisation by the management, pay the corresponding visitor’s fee. Upon arrival, the visitor must report to the front desk before entering the premises. Visitors are not allowed in the pool area. Visitors’ pets are subject to the same rules as our guests (see rates and internal regulations).

Pets:
All guests travelling with their pet must indicate it at the time of booking; otherwise, the pet may be refused.
They must be in order according to the legislation in force, and a daily fee must be paid at the time of booking. Pets must not interfere with the peace and safety of other residents. Furthermore, they are not allowed in the swimming pool. Guests are not allowed to leave their pets unattended on the premises. Basic rules of hygiene and the integrity of the facilities must be respected.

Other Provisions

Property Code of Conduct:
Guests undertake to use the premises reasonably and return them in the same and proper state they were found. Guests are expected to respect the tranquillity of all fellow residents. Guests should check that their insurance policy covers the “holiday” risk as a precaution. Les Toits de Santa Giulia, its management and staff, cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for disturbances caused by third parties. Guests undertake to insure themselves against any rental risks (fire, water damage, etc.). Failure to take out insurance will give rise to damages and interest in the event of damage caused by the guests. Guests are obliged to report within 24 hours any damage to the accommodation, its outbuildings or amenities. In the event of a dispute, the courts of South Corsica shall have sole jurisdiction.

Health & Safety Swimming Pool Rules:
– The swimming pool is open from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm;
– The swimming pool is a place of leisure, but also relaxation. For the respect of all residents, please keep noise to a minimum;
– Minors are under the responsibility of their parents;
– Animals are strictly forbidden in the pool area;
– Jumping and diving are prohibited for safety reasons;
– Fins, inflatable mattresses and large buoys are forbidden for reasons of hygiene;
– The pool is not supervised. Please make sure to close the safety gates.

Liability:
Les Toits de Santa Giulia cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings on the premises, whether in rental units, car parks, or common areas. Therefore, it is up to the guests to take out a “holiday insurance” to cover any damage that may occur. Les Toits de Santa Giulia declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss or damage due to bad weather, fire, vandalism or incidents falling under the civil responsibility of the guests on the premises of the holiday residence. Each guest is responsible for any disturbance or nuisance caused by people staying with him/her or visiting him/her. Les Toits de Santa Giulia is not responsible for any personal belongings left behind after departure.

Interruption of Stay:
A premature departure or an interruption of stay at Les Toits de Santa Giulia cannot give rise to any refund on the part of the latter.

Personal data:
You authorise Les Toits de Santa Giulia and any person that the residence may wish to contract to photograph, record or film you during your stay at the holiday residence and use the said images, sounds, videos, and recordings on any medium. This authorisation applies to you and the people staying with you. The sole purpose is to ensure the promotion of the holiday residence. Therefore, it may not in any way damage your reputation. This authorisation is granted free of charge, for all countries and for a period of 10 years.

The information you provide when making your reservation will not be passed on to any third party. It is considered confidential. It will be used only by the internal services of Les Toits de Santa Giulia to process your reservation and to reinforce and personalise the communication and the offer of services reserved for its guests according to your centres of interest.
